01 as-built LANDSCAPE
THE LANDSCAPE AS WE RECEIVED IT
This was the first render that we received when we started working on the entire project. The render was done by the previous architects who were designing the project before us.
We faced many problems when working on this project. As you can see above, the first renders that we received made the project look like it existed on a flat ground, when in reality, the site was sloped at an angle, which meant that we needed to do a lot of excavating to make it suitable for buildings and landscaping.
This was the project as it was built, and it was the stage in which we picked up on the work. As you will see below, iy underwent several design changes based on our redesigns and renovations.
02 design process
EXCAVATIONS
When we first received the project, 5 buildings were in the process of being built, but the landscaping wasn't commenced. The project was built on a slope so our first and most important objective was to do multiple excavations to make the site suitable for buildings and landscaping.
